Shannon Cranford, age 47, of Caledonia, MS, formerly of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Kingsville Cemetery.  Bro. Aaron Gann to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Shannon was born on May 15, 1975 in Amory, MS to Douglas Ryan Cranford and Janine Tidwell Cranford.  He attended Sulligent High School.  Shannon previously worked in the oil fields and for G & N Machine in Sulligent, AL.  He enjoyed playing guitar and riding and training horses.  Shannon also liked to rope in high school rodeos in his youth.  He was a member of Detroit Church of God.
