OBITUARY

Shirley Ann Humbers Cummings, age 78, of Vernon, AL, formerly of Millport, AL, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL.  The family has chosen cremation and no memorial services will be announced at this time.

Shirley was born on February 8, 1945 in Sulligent, AL to the late Troy Franklin Humbers and the late Jessie Louvada O'Mary Humbers.  She attended Sulligent Schools.  Shirley was co-owner of Columbus Awnings.  She was very dedicated in serving her community and previously joined the Volunteer South Lamar Rescue Squad.  Shirley enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music and spending time with her family.  She attended the Nazarene Church.
