Shirley Jones, age 72, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her residence.  The family has chosen cremation and there are no memorial services set at this time.

Shirley was born on January 6, 1953 in Chicago, IL to the late George L. Jones and the late Maryliza Hawkins Jones.  She attended South Shore High School in Chicago, IL.  Shirley was a free spirit, holding many jobs in her career such as Mechanic, Cook, Home Health Aide, and also as a truck driver.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles, drawing, and was always known to be playing around too much. Shirley was full of life and always loved socializing with people.  She was a faithful member of People's Tabernacle Church in Sulligent, AL. as well as a member of the Eastern Star. Her bright and loving heart will be greatly missed.
