Steve McDonald, age 71, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Love Joy Cemetery.  Bro. Ricky Stanford to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 10:00am until 11:00am.

Steve was born on July 14, 1954 in Winfield, AL to the late Vernell McDonald and the late Robbie Gray Gosa McDonald.  He was a graduate of Haleyville High School.  Steve previously worked at Longnecker in Amory, MS and Foodland in Amory, MS.  He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.  He was also known to be an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan.  His loving heart and humble spirit will never be forgotten and always cherished by all those who loved and knew him.
