Stewart William Murrell, age 76, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Northport DCH in Northport, AL.  The family has chosen cremation and no funeral services will be announced at this time.

Stewart was born on January 19, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to the late Charles Stewart Murrell and the late Greta Gigax Murrell.  He was a graduate of Ferguson High School in St.Louis, MO.  After high school Stewart attended Georgia Military College and joined the U.S. Air Force, which he retired from after a dedicated service career in aviation maintenance.  He later worked in security at PCA in Clyattville, Georgia.  Stewart enjoyed golf, fishing, and watching horror movies.  He attended Grace Methodist Church in Vernon, AL.
