Sue McDaniel Brown, age 97, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Marion Regional Nursing Home, Hamilton, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. Stephen Sanderson and Bro. Jeff Chaffin to officiate the services. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service on Tuesday from 11:00am until service time at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Sulligent First Baptist Church.

Stella "Sue" Turman McDaniel Brown was born on May 14, 1927 in Lamar County Alabama, to the late John Fletcher Turman and the late Nima Cunningham Turman. She had previously worked as a lunchroom worker in the Sulligent Schools. She enjoyed camping, outdoor life, and gardening. Sue was a member of the Sulligent First Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
