Sue Newell Patrick, age 77, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at family residence in Pearl, MS.  The family has chosen cremation and no memorial services will be held.

Sue was born on October 8, 1943 in Birmingham, AL to the late Hobart Newell and the late Leta Lavelle Smith.  She was a graduate of Sulligent High School and St. Vincent's School of Nursing.  Sue was previously employed at Lamar County General Hospital in Vernon, AL, Baptist Memorial-Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS and Internal Medicine Associates.  She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, tole painting, and reading.
