Thomas E. "Eddy" Gunter, also lovingly known as Claude Earl, age 64, of Kennedy, AL, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Beaverton Cemetery.  Bro. B.J. Mills to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Eddy was born on February 14, 1958 in Amory, MS with a twin brother, Teddy, to the late William Gunter and Mary Nell Weeks.  Eddy was a 1977 graduate of Sulligent High School.  He played football and received an award for best defensive player of the year.  He worked at Hyster Co. after graduation for 31 years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Eddy recently received Jesus as his Savior.
