Tommy Ben McDowell, age 66, of Steens, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation in Columbus, MS.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 2:00pm, followed by burial, from the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. James King to officiate.

Tommy was born on February 1, 1956, in Aliceville, AL to the late J.B. McDowell and the late Alma Mae Johnson. He attended Lamar County High School. Tommy worked in the Logging Industry and had previously worked for the city of Vernon. He enjoyed football, basketball, hunting, and fishing.
