Varlisa Turner Jackson, age 52, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Pastor Andre Evans and Pastor Micah Redd to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 10:00am until 11:45am.

Varlisa was born on February 5, 1970 in Amory, MS to Robert Turner and the late Fayrene Hackman Turner.  She was a 1988 graduate of Sulligent High School and later attended Alabama State University.  Varlisa previously worked at Hamilton Bathware and Chromalox.  She enjoyed singing and cooking.  Varlisa was a member of Greater Victory Church of God.
