Vernie Mae Trentham, age 91, of Beaverton, AL passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Beaverton Baptist Church at 2:00pm with burial to follow in Sizemore Memorial Cemetery.  Bro. Rusty Holland and Bro. Mitch Nethery to officiate.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Beaverton Baptist Church from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.

Vernie was born on July 24, 1928 in Lamar County, AL to the late Fannie Lee Terrell.  She owned and operated Trentham's Florist and Gifts and was an Eastern Star.  She enjoyed quilting, flowers, being a stay at home mother, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Vernie was a member of Beaverton Baptist Church.
