Vewis "Dick" Seals, age 85, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center, Hamilton, AL.  Private family memorial services will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Tommy Spruiel to officiate.

Dick was born on November 23, 1937 in Beaverton, AL to the late Vewis Vester Seals and the late Florence Cantrell Seals.  He attended Byrd School.  Dick was a musician for years with the Esquires in Illinois.  He previously worked in maintenance for the Lamar County Board of Education. He was a bee keeper and also enjoyed wood working.  Dick was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church.
