Virginia Elsie Smith Dove, age 90, of Sulligent, AL, passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family at her residence on Friday, May 31, 2024.  She was our "go-to" when life got rough, our sanity in this crazy world, and our comfort when we needed clarity.  She was always someone we could count on and she will be missed tremendously.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Wofford Cemetery.  Her pastor, Bro. Rick Myers to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.

Elsie was born on January 9, 1934 in Vernon, AL to the late Oscar and Jala Morris Smith.  She graduated from Lamar County High School and was married to the late Raymond Dove.  Elsie spent many years working for McCoy Glenn until she retired.  Elsie loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them.  She was a believer and a member of Living Waters Assembly of God in Gattman, MS.
