Waymon E. McDill, age 74, of Columbus, MS, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Vaughn Cemetery in Caledonia, MS.  Bro. Armon McDill to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Waymon was born on May 25, 1951 in Pickens Co., AL to the late Morris McDill and the late Lorine McDowell McDill.  He attended school in Caledonia, MS.  Waymon was previously employed at Ceco Building Systems in Columbus, MS, and also worked in the pulpwood business and mowed grass for KBR.  He loved being outdoors any chance he could, especially going fishing, gardening or mowing grass.  He was a hard worker and loved his family very much, always treasured any time could spend with them.  His kind heart and loving memory will never be forgotten and always cherished.
