Wesley "Wes" Johnson, age 40, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 near Hamilton, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00pm at Crews Community Church with burial to follow in Crews Cemetery.  Bro. Tom Ward to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Wes was born on August 12, 1982 in Fayette, AL to Paul Terry Johnson and Lana Denise May Johnson.  He was a 2000 Graduate of Sulligent High School and later earned his Master's Degree at the University of Alabama.  Wes was previously employed by the IRS.  He was a good father and loved spending time with his kids. Wes enjoyed walking, kayaking and being outdoors.  He was a member of Crews Community Church.
