Willard Lovelady, age 81, of Sulligent, AL, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. Matthew Paul to officiate. Visitation will be held at Otts Funeral Home on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 12:00pm to service time at 2:00pm.

Willard was born on May 8, 1939 in Monroe County, MS to the late Alvie Lovelady and the late Velma Irvin.  He attended Sulligent High School.  Willard was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and song leader. He retired from NACCO.  Willard was an U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his grandchildren, Alabama Football and Atlanta Braves Baseball.
