William "Bill" Walden, age 89, of Vernon, AL passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Lamar Memory Gardens in Vernon, AL.  Bro. Jerry Ray to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Bill was born on March 10, 1931 in Lamar County, AL to the late Raymond Walden and the late Eula Mae Gilmore.  He was retired U.S. Air Force from Rockford Arsenal in Davenport, Iowa.  Bill enjoyed woodworking.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
