Ollie Hester, age 80, of Sulligent, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Jeff Chaffin to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.

Ollie was born on March 16, 1939 in Lamar County, AL to the late Hicks Hester and the late Stella Mason.  He attended Sulligent Schools.  Ollie drove a truck for most of his life, but had also worked for the City of Sulligent Water Department. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
